In the field of robot arcade games, IR ROBOT (www.irrobot.com) has been widely regarded for some time now both in the Korean and global markets.

¡ãMarubot Football League
Founded in 2003, IR ROBOT(www.irrobot.com) integrated patented technology to make the world’s first no-battery-required intelligent robot gaming device. The game is called “Marubot Football League,” a soccer game that can be enjoyed by two or four players by controlling the robot with a joystick. The robots in the stadium are powered automatically by IR ROBOT’s patented power supply system technology so that the machine can continue to operate without the need to change batteries. It burst onto the arcade market, and was subsequently met with an improved model of the Marubot Football League, followed by the Bugs Bot Catcher, and a Robot Tennis Game Machine. On the heels of these launch successes, the company’s technological excellence was recognized when they were awarded the grand prize at the 2004 Korea Game Awards.

¡ãVirtual robot game machine
IR ROBOT also develops and supplies robot mission sports game devices. These are new concept games in which the digital content (the virtual robot) interacts with a real robot. Implemented as a real robot video game, this game platform links robotic technology to the game industry, making the development potential of this field extremely high. The infrared camera retrieves the robot’s IR marker; from the images, the pattern is analyzed and the position is calculated, so that the robot’s location can be synchronized with the virtual world (image content). The company currently provides content for robot soccer and other games; soon, a variety of genres of robot games can be played on one game platform, according to the change in the content. The company is looking to apply diverse content to its sports, shooting, and other types of games. Single player mode, 1:1 and 2:2 games are possible; a playoff between a virtual robot and an actual robot is possible, making this system practical and high-utility. There are a number of patents pending for the various technologies that support this new concept game machine.

The company has concluded sales contracts with major buyers in the UK, US, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, as well as the arcade game industry-advanced Europe and North America. Currently the company is exporting its products to 22 overseas countries. The company's robot soccer game machines have been installed in Disneyland and cruise lines in the United States, where they have been very well received.

¡ãArduino compatible bipedal humanoids 'iRONBOY'
Based on their small servo motor control technology, IR ROBOT also supplies industrial and educational robots. Their lineup inclues Mini Linear Servo Motors, and Arduino compatible bipedal humanoids. The Arduino compatible bipedal robot utilizes the Arduino API and various Arduino shields to infintintely extend the functionality of the robot. A 6-axis Gyro sensor, a Bluetooth 4.0 module, and a robot stand for convenient robot programming are provided. The small linear servomotor can be used for linear operations in position control and for various applications requiring linear motion.

IR ROBOT is actively engaging in efforts to open up the export market. Arranged by the Korea Association of Robot Industry, the company set up a booth in the Korean Pavillion at the International Robot Exhibition (iREX 2017), which was held this year in Japan from November 29th to December 2nd. There, the company set about attracting customers from the world’s most advanced country in robotics. They launched a publicity blitz on, among others, their Mini Linear Servo Motors.

¡ãIR ROBOT’s Mini Linear Servo Motor 'MightyZAP'
IR ROBOT’s Mini Linear Servo Motor (mightyZAP) is an improved version of the Mini Linear Servo Motor. It can be applied to any application requiring linear motion with precise position control. It can be applied to industrial automation equipment, medical equipment, and UAVs. With its all-in-one design including 100μm position accuracy, various parameter feedback through TTL/RS-485 data communication, high output and high durability coreless motor and a drive circuit, it is possible to generate an output corresponding to 6N to 120N for each model. It has various features such as backlash minimization of the mechanical structure, acts as a substitute for existing pneumatic cylinders with no positioning control, and reduces facility costs due to its competitive price.
