Giving Convenience to Human lives Based on 30 years’ worth of Technology

Founded in 1988, YUJIN ROBOT (www.yujinrobot.com) is a Korean service robot company that has had nearly 30 years of technological know-how and experience in developing and selling intelligent service robots that provide convenience in our daily lives.

The company’s product line-up is diverse and includes the worldwide phenomenon “iClebo” cleaning robot series, “iRobi Q” education robot, “Kobuki” for use in R&D research platforms, “Robhaz” Search-and-Rescue Robots for disaster areas, and autonomous driving “GoCart.”

¡ã iClebo POP cleaning robot
YUJIN ROBOT’s flagship product is decidedly the cleaning robot. Apart from the in-house brand iClebo, the company supplies household appliances to global companies on an OEM basis. With its sophisticated driving and meticulous cleaning skills built on 29 years of robot technology know-how, the household cleaning robot – the company’s flagship product iClebo – is exported to over 30 countries and has been recognized as a “World-Class Korean Product” from the government’s Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for 6 straight years. The iClebo series includes basic to premium models, including Arte, POP, Light, Collaboration, and Omega. The series employs a powerful suctioning capability and refined cleaning operations. The space analysis algorithm based on a cameral allows a thorough cleaning of each room; auto, spot, max, and threshold driving modes can be activated depending on the conditions. A mopping mode has also been added, making this product superior in both design and function.

¡ãIron Man and Star Wars R2-D2 cleaning robot.
“Collaboration” is a new cleaning robot that was launched this past June as part of a collaborative effort between iClebo and Disney to vividly implement Marvel’s Iron Man and Star Wars’ R2-D2-inspired cleaning robot. iClebo’s Iron Man mimics the movie hero so that it seems as if the robot/hero from the movie is actually doing the cleaning. Utilizing Iron Man’s signature suit and gold mask and various sound effects, depending on the cleaning environment, this new robot cleaner is truly realistic. The design of iClebo Star Wars incorporates the color scheme and identity of the most famous robot mascot in the world, R2-D2. In particular, the 15 interactive sounds are exact copies of R2-D2’s voice, and 3 colorful LEDs allow the robot cleaner to behave like the real thing. Using the Bluetooth control with a dedicated smartphone app, the product can be controlled and operated in a fun way.

¡ãYUJIN ROBOT’s premium cleaning robot 'OMEGA'
The OMEGA is YUJIN ROBOT’s standout premium cleaning robot. The powerful BLDC motor provides suction power 110 times that of the other products, allowing a much cleaner finish. With the adoption of a perfected NST driving algorithm, the cleaning robot possesses precise driving ability and excellent judgment so that it is able to clean in areas that are easily missed by a human cleaner, such as under furniture and in nooks and crannies. By applying the V6 rubber blade, the company has minimized hair and pet fur collection in the brush rollers, which has made upkeep considerably easier for the user. The robot cleaner is also able to adjust to the material of the floor and with its dust sensor self-adjust to increase its suctioning power and re-navigate for more effective cleaning. On carpets, the robot switches to its turbo motor to more powerfully suction in dust.

¡ãeducation robot “iRobi Q”
The education robot “iRobi Q” is a Ubiquitous based home robot that combines robot and network. After its development in 2004, it has grown steadily in the early childhood education field with teachers and children. Within the classroom, through interactions between teachers and students, the product has not only helped students to pique academic interest but, through imagination and creativity in the future, has also raised interest in robotics and scientific literacy.

¡ãRobot platforms for R & D research “Kobuki”
Robot platforms for R & D research include “Kobuki” and “TurtleBot2”. Kobuki is based on the open source platform controlled by ROS, and can be used for various research and education purposes in fields such as SLAM and NAVIGATION. It is easy to use the many materials that have been made available to WIKI and to the community. By using additional components, TurtleBot2 can be enhanced. ROS’ standard platform TurtleBot2 is an economical education and development platform based on Kabuki. The product can be used in multiple fields such as cluster control and SLAM and NAVIGATION, which uses 3-D information.

¡ãROBHAZ
ROBHAZ is the shortened form for “Robots for Hazardous Application.” It is a military robot used for reconnaissance and to deactivate homemade explosive devices. It can easily traverse up and down stairs, steep slopes, and rough terrain. It is mounted with a Linux-based control system, which can be remotely controlled.

¡ã“GoCart”
The “GoCart” is an autonomously driving robot that offers a needed transportation option at large hospitals, shopping malls, and hotels. Stereo cameras, 3D sensors, ultrasonic sensors allow precise spatial analysis to deliver the occupant to the precise location. When necessary, it is even able to move within floors by using the elevator. It can avoid people and other obstacles to avoid collisions. With IoT connection, it can become integrated to a smart building structure, smartphone, tablet PC, and smart TV. The company has tested its products in nursing homes in Spain and New Zealand, Coca-Cola in Germany, and other large hospitals, with feedback collected from these areas; based on the data, they have optimized their sensor configuration and safety mechanisms.

YUJIN ROBOT has been working tirelessly to improve the quality of its service robots. By striving to be the best service robot company in the world, they have played a large role in boosting the robotic industry as a whole.
