¡ã LPK Factory
Headquartered in Incheon, the industrial robot company LPK Co. Ltd.(www.lpkrobo.com) was founded in 2004. It is a manufacturer and and supplier of industrial automation robots such as the Cartesian robots, linear SCARA robots and wafer transfer robots (WTR) that are used in the manufacturing of semiconductors, mobiles, displays, and other electronic products.

LPK holds core technology in system design. With its price and production capabilites, it is a competititve company in quality. It also holds various patents such those for as linear moving type clean robots and medical assistant robots. At present, the robots supplied by LPK can be classified into the miniature robot, standard robot, clean robot, linear robot, and modular robot. They also supply laser processing machines, CNC processing machines, and automation systems.

Based on its 10-plus years of accumulated know-how in the narrow field of the robotics industry, LPK entered the NC ultra-precision equipment business in 2014. Their NC business makes machines that are at the core of automated systems. As an extension of the engineering equipent industry, they are growing rapidly due to the surge in demand for mobile phone metal and other products. Industrial robot technology have been applied to LPK NC products, making their technology characterized by both high rigidity and high precision.

An LPK associate said, "Based on 10 years of experience in ultra-precision technology, we successfully entered the market with out NC business and have established a stable position in the market. With Chins’s entry into the Industrial use robots business, we are entering a new phase.” With China’s embrace of automation robotic equipment, the demand in China’s market is expected grow, with accompanying benefits.

LPK has also opened a local office in Shenzhen, China, in order to reach the Chinese market. As major domsetic and foreign IT manufacturers of LCD and semiconductors actively launch new products and increase production, demand for industrial robots is on the rise. Especially in the Chinese market, due to labor costs, inflation, and unit costs, automation equipment systems are being introduced on a wide scale to large companies such as BYD and Foxconn.

Based on their accumulated know-how of industrial robots, LPK plans to provide a variety of humanoid robots to replace workers in the industrial field, and by incorporating industrial-use robots with the NC specialized equipment industry, they plan to to lead the field of factory automation.

¡ãLPK was listed on KONEX in October 2013.
CEO of LPK Kwang Lee is driven by his philosophy, “Ultimately, humans need robots to play a supporting role in their pursuit of happiness.” Until now, robots have been widely used in separate industrial or non-industrial contexts; at some point, there will be a uniting force that will allow industrial use or home use, depending on the purpose. He remarked that a company’s "Total System" is becoming more and more important, and emphasizing that it is essential not only to offer high quality products but also to provide a total system that supports customers' requirements and meets their ultimate objectives. "We will create a company that prioritizes our customers, shareholders, and people “to make a world of happy people through technology”.”

LPK was listed on KONEX in October 2013.
