NT Robot, Co. (www.ntrobot.net) was founded in January 2004 in Seoul, Korea under the aegis of a "Human-Robot Symbiosis" management philosophy. With this philosophy as a guiding force, the company has commercialized the manufacturing of robot systems and medical-rehabilitation robots. Among the medical rehabilitation robots, the most noteworthy are the Hospital Delivery Robot (Sbot), the Wearable Walking Robot (RoboWear), and the Chemotherapy Compounding Robot (DUPAL-Chemo).

¡ãMiddle East Hospital's Hospital Delivery Robot 'Sbot'
The Hospital Delivery Robot (Sbot, Hospital Delivery Robot) is an autonomously moving robot that does not require a track guidance line and safely carries items within the complex hospital enivronment. Sbot2 is capable of conveying over 100kg of items at a relatively brisk speed of 800mm/sec; it has already been used for the unmanned conveyance of blood / tissue samples, medicines, surgical tools and medical isotopes. In recent years, more advanced features have been added, such as the ability to simultaeoulsy operate a group of robots, travel between floors including the use of elevators. The Sbot3, scheduled to be released next March, can automatically load/unload merchandise on/from shelves or conveyors. Although the Sbot is a service robot that is ideal for use in an hospital environment where safety is a top concern, it can also be used in public areas and smart factories.

¡ãWearable Walking Robot 'RoboWear'
The Wearable Walking Robot (RoboWear, Wearable Walking Assist Robot for Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries) was developed to aid those people with spinal cord injuries to stand and walk. Since 2006, NT Robots has been developing a wide range of walking robots, but RoboWear10 has undergone a large number of improvements in its walking functions and practicality features. Both legs can be opened so that getting in and out of the wearable is easy; the size of the backpack containing the controller and battery has been reduced; and the waist circumference and leg lengths are adjustable, so one wearable can actually serve several people at a time. This feature is an extremely useful for facilties that cater to the disabled.

The Chemotherapy Compounding Robot (DUPAL-Chemo, Preparation of chemotherapeutic compounds Robot) is a robotic system for use in preparing high-risk drugs such as those that are cytotoxic or virus infected, and especially anticancer drugs.

¡ãChemotherapy Compounding Robot 'DUPAL-Chemo'
The Dual-arm robots are contained in a sealed, negative pressure cabinet with air circulating at regular intervals. The dual-armed robot takes out the vials in the prepared tray and with a syringe and extracts, injects, or mixes the contents of the vial. Finally, the prepared medicine is put into a soft bag and left outside of the cabinet. This robot system protects the health of the pharmacist during the hazardous preparation evironment, and also protects the patients by guaranteeing quantitative preparation conditions (meaning precise measurements) and no-fault (meaning error-free) preparation in a sterile environment.

In addition, NT Robot, Co. was supplied their vertical articulated robots through various business partners (DENSO, YASKAWA), and are manufacturing their own parallel link robot (NPicker) and mobile robot. By including high speed vision, 3D vision, and force sensor, among others, the company is providing robot systems for smart factories.

NT Robot, Co. is a leading Korean robot company that practices the 4Ps - Passion, Patience, Partnership, and Pleasure for the advancement of the robot industry.
